Ketcham's A-Frame ~ Walk to the pool!

Please note that there is NO hot tub on this property despite it being listed as an amenity and it displaying in the filters search for places with a hot tub. There is a single note at the very bottom of the listing with that update and unfortunately I missed it.

Also this place is pretty dangerous if you have young children. Board on the steps to back deck were loose. The taking on the stairs to the loft is a falling hazard and the stairs themselves are extremely steep and don't feel secure when you step on them. Things like the coffee maker, some of the pans, and tea kettle were dirty and had to be washed before use. The vacuum was completely full and had to be emptied before use. The kids beds upstairs had tons of trash and dust and hairballs under them. I was very disappointed. The only positive were the location and the comfort of the beds.

I gave this rental a three-star rating but it could easily be listed as a four and a half star stay with a few adjustments. Check-in, check-out, appliance, and TV printed instructions were lacking or confusing but management was prompt to respond to text questions about any problems which was a real plus. Appliances and WIFI were all top of the line, Alexa and Keurig coffee maker were very nice touches, dishes and flatware were almost brand new but the large array of banged up, discolored pots and pans felt sanitary. These could be easily be replaced by a small set of pans. Furniture and decorations were quite nice but the missing screens in upstairs loft and one bedroom made getting cool air inside the house difficult. The large AC unit in the living room worked hard to cool the house in the heat of the day. The management is aware of this problem as evidenced by the number of fans in the house but many of these fans were unusable because of the lack of wall plugs. This could be remedied easily by having power strips in each room with a few extension cords especially in the upstairs loft where the power strip wasn’t long enough to place a fan in a usable place. The location, layout and outside deck areas were excellent. In all a few changes could have made this pleasant stay into an very comfortable stay. I give five stars to management for excellent service.

The rental experience was great for a group. All essentials were provided for a comfortable stay, although I would recommend leaving more toilet paper for the next guests. In terms of cleanliness, there was dog hair all over the floor and furniture, but everything else was OK.

We had a blast. Perfect location. Plenty of space for 6 of us plus two doggos. The only thing lacking was the kitchen. Get a few baking sheets and baking dishes and it’s the perfect place. We showed up and there was leftover food in the freezer and some of the pillows had been painted

Great location. Cabin met our needs perfectly. Decorated nicely and clean. The only downside was the driveway was not paved, so it was a lot of dirt and we couldn’t drive our car up closer to the front steps.

The house was nice. Great beds and nice sofa to watch movies. I didn't love the hallway kitchen layout given the snow and mud. The coffee maker was great. The kitchen was well equipted. The house is a bit dated and fireplace could use some help but overall a fine holiday rental.

The family went away for the first time. There were 7 of us. Lots of logs around the house. There was no air conditioning and the house was HOT. BBQ was melted inside & dirty. Used personal items on floor.

4 day rental to enjoy the mountains with the family. This property was clean, well stocked and just right for us.

This home was perfect for our two families staying together. There was plenty of room for our family of five in the upstairs loft area and the kids loved the foosball table. Our friends stayed below in the two bedrooms. Beds were comfortable! We enjoyed the coffee machines, puzzles, and games! We had 2 feet of snow while we stayed in November, but the kids loved sledding and building igloos and forts in the yard. We would stay here again!
