Dodge Ridge ski area, located just 12 miles from Yosemite National Park offers a wide range of terrain with 815 acres of trails for all levels of skiers and snowboarders to enjoy. With five freestyle terrain parks beginning and intermediate snowboarders are sure to find the adventure they are looking to enjoy. A family-friendly mountain resort, Dodge Ridge offers award-winning lesson programs for children of all abilities. Area recreation includes cross country skiing, touring, ice skating, sledding, and tubing areas nearby.

With the recent additions of new lifts and snow parks, Dodge Ridge is quickly becoming one of the more popular ski resorts in the breathtaking Sierra Nevada Mountains. New owners have modified this mid-sized ski resort to meet the needs of snowboarders without forgetting the family philosophy. Just a short drive from most bay area cities, Dodge Ridge Ski Resort, is the place to be, often taking less than 3 hours. The tickets run about forty-five dollars. The five different terrain parks include Discovery Way, for beginners; the Halfpipe, Rocky’s Road, Rys Run, and Sunrise, which are for intermediate and advanced skiers.

The season at Dodge Ridge runs from December to April, receiving an average snowfall of 300 to 500 inches a year. There is a vertical drop of 1600 feet, and the elevation at the summit rises to 8200 feet.
